How about those 40 Year Old Hairy Berries?
I love finding old fishing lures. Some are to collect. Some are to fish. Some are both. This latest find fits in the last category. We are thrilled to share this last find and I bet it's a bait you've never heard of, much less ever fished, but you should. It's called the Worth Hairy Berry. These came out around 1983 shortly after their acquisition of a company on the West Coast. The Hairy Berry is a 5/8 oz bait with a berry shaped body just below the jig type head and full of whiskers. Moves through the water in a weed-less manner. Part of their limited Tournament Pro Bass series.
We came across a few cases of these untouched for essentially four decades! This is a lure you just don't come across and I'm from the home state of Worth (Wisconsin), so you know it's a tough lure to find. Add some of these to your collection or heck they are priced right to take some fishing. Below are a couple of photos of just two of the colors we have in stock. See all of them here on our Worth page. Hurry though, once we sell out, I doubt we'll see anymore. They are the only ones I've ever seen and I had to search high and low to find out what year they were made. Tough Worth lures.
