Elmer J. Deuster Gopher Lure with Box Antique Wisconsin Musky Lure. Elmer J. Deuster, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Early lure and box dating to the 1940's or 1950's. Box has some wear but still overall ok condition, such a tough box to find. Lure is about 6" long, brown color. Lure is flocked, has paddle wheels as it moves across the water top. Lure in overall good condition. Very tough lure and box combo. A must for Wisconsin or Musky collectors. Will look great in a display. See photos. Also includes what appears to be half of what was once a box insert card that was folded in half. The other half is missing although it is two sided (It might even be a complete piece folded together but brittle from being wet in the past, just not taking the chance to separate it. Will let buyer decide.). I've never seen this before. A cool piece even though it isn't complete.
